How many of you remember the character Gunther on Friends? No? Nobody but the ninja? Come on, the ninja thought that you had a better memory than that.

The ninja must not be the only one because the JetBlue Flight Attendant, Steve Slater has been making the Internet circuit lately.

Why? Because he and Michael Tyler, the actor that played Central Perk’s manager Gunther on the TV show “Friends” share a striking similarity.

Take a look for yourself. Steve Slater, pictured on the left is the JetBlue flight attendant, while Michael Tyler is on the right.

The real reason Steve Slater is in the news is because he’s had enough. Being a flight attendant sucks. And Steve’s had enough. The other day the JetBlue flight attendant

got on the PA system and said “To the passenger who just called me a motherfucker, fuck you. I’ve been in this business 28 years, and I’ve had it.” He then grabbed a beer, activated the emergency chute, slid out the plane, and ran to his car, which was parked in an employee lot. He then drove home.

He was later arrested by Port Authority of New York And New Jersey police at his home in Belle Harbor, Queens. He faces charges of criminal mischief, reckless endangerment and trespassing.

38-year-old Slater was still in custody on Monday night.
