You have to love Rip Torn. Alright, you don’t have to love him. And when you look beyond his lovable exterior he is a pretty mean little man. This isn’t something new though. He has taken care of keeping the tabloids busy his whole career.
You may be asking yourself what Rip has gotten himself into now, or you’ve read the title and you know that the actor has a few more tricks up his sleeve. His trick is called bank robbery.
Today CBS reported that the Men in Black star will appear before a judge on allegations that he attempted to rob a bank Lichfield Bancorp in Salisbury, CN.
The report states that Rip Torn broke into a bank with a loaded gun Friday night. To top it off he was drunk. The 78-year-old was arraigned on Monday on charges burglary and firearm charges.
While these charges are more dramatic, Rip is more than capable of still getting in trouble with the law.
Rip Torn Arrested
Last year he was given probation and allowed to enter rehabilitation due to his alcohol abuse when he was arrested for driving drunk. He also has two prior DUI’s in the state of New York.
Will this be the final hurra? Probably not.
