Nicolas Chartier Banned from the Oscars?

If you have seen the Hurt Locker you will know how good of a movie it is. You may also know that it is being nominated for Best Picture in tonight’s Oscars. What you may not know is that the producer, Nicolas Chartier, may very likely be banned from attending the Oscars. It is currently unknow if he will also be banned from the red carpet. If that sounds unfair then all the ninja has to say is that’s Hollywood for you. According to some reports the ban came when Nicolas Chartier began emailing Oscar voters appealing to them to vote for the Hurt Locker. Will this hurt the locker? Maybe but the ninja can sympathise. Avatar (while an entertaining movie) is only being nominated because it earned something like nine hundred million trillion dollars. While this makes it a success it doesn’t necessarily make it a Oscar worthy film. Which the Hurt Locker is. Nicholas just saw that his little movie needed a hand and he was able to give it. Still don’t feel too bad for him, the word on the street is that there will be a private party being thrown for him by the chair of William Morris Agency. It is estimated that around 100 people will be there. This doesn’t put him in too bad of a hurt locker.
